 DOGGY DAY TRIPS A tired dog is a well-behaved, content and happy dog! We will pick up your dog and take him or her with us on a nature hike in the park, on a walk through downtown Fredericksburg, or around an area shopping center and in dog-friendly stores.
Day Trips are ideal for: - Canine athletes who need long conditioning hikes to stay in shape and prevent injury - Dogs whose owners get home too late to properly exercise them - Overweight dogs who need to drop a few pounds - Puppies that need to be socialized - Young dogs with endless reserves of energy Your dog will come home exercised, content and reading for a nap! Cost: $25 per outing Overnight Stay Pet Sitting - This elite service is available on a limited basis. It includes all daily walks, exercise and pet care, plant care and mail handling. Call or email us for more information. Pet Limo and Transportation Service - Need your dog picked up and brought to Pup 'N Iron Day care? A grooming appointment or Vet visit? We will transport your pet safely to and from a specified destination within 10 miles*. $15 one way/$25 roundtrip* (If visit requires us to wait with your pet, we can do that! $20/per hour waiting fee.) *Additional $1.00 per mile added for destinations in excess of 10 miles Holidays: A $25 total surcharge will be added to any pet sitting services that occur on a holiday or over a holiday weekend. Observed Holidays: President's Day - February 19 Easter - April 6-9 Memorial Day - May 28 4th of July - July 4 Labor Day - September 3 Columbus Day - October 8 Thanksgiving - November 22-25 Christmas Winter Break - December 23 -January 1, 2008 Cancellation: Cancellations must be done a minimum of 48 hours from scheduled service. All last minute cancellations will carry a $20 service fee during non-holiday, $50 service fee during holidays. PET SITTING REQUIREMENTS All pet sitting clients must first undergo an interview and consultation (45 - 60 minutes) - free of charge to all Pup 'N Iron former or current patrons, a $20 service fee for all others. Pet sitting services are by reservation only and must be made a minimum of 72 hours in advance. Dogs must be current on vaccinations (Distemper/Parvo, Rabies). (Titers gladly accepted).
