This is the official 12 hour educational workshop for the Delta Society Pet Partner Program.  It combines lecture, discussion, role playing and field training to help you become a successful therapy dog team.

  • Handler needs and responsibilities

  • Dog Behavior & Obedience Training
  • Mock Therapy Team Evaluations
Prerequisites: Dogs may attend the second day.  Any dog that attend must not be dog or people aggressive and have successfully completed a basic obedience class.
