SCHEDULE OF GAMES, WORKSHOPS

Doggy Charades - Come have fun and show off what your dog can do in this hilarious, action packed game. You remember the game of charades?  Well this time your dog gets to be your partner as you act out a variety of fun tricks and behaviors.  Each dog/handler will be put in teams.  You must act out a behavior for your team to guess.   If they guess correctly, your team gets the points!  Don't worry, you'll have a little time to practice - 30 whole seconds!!  And then you'll have to show your stuff!  At the end of the game, the team with the most points wins!  And yes, there will be prizes!!

What's My Dog Trying to Say?

Ever wonder what your dog is trying to tell you or the other dogs he meets?   Not only is this "cool" information, but it's important too!  By understanding your dog's signals, you can learn so much more about his emotional state and help keep him safe as well.  Through photos, videos and fun quizzes, you'll learn some of the basic body language signals dogs use to communicate with us and each other.  This is a humans only workshop - no dogs in attendance please.
Saturday, January 8, 2011, 10:00am - 12:00pm: FREE

Fur Get Me Not - Dog Grooming Basics - Can you clip your own dog's nails?  Clean the ears?  Search for fleas and ticks?  Give a proper bath?  Trim the hair around his feet?  Express the anal glands?  Well, you should!  These basic skills are not only great for maintenance in between professional groomings, but can help you bond with your dog.  Let us show you how.  Each participant will receive a coupon for a free self-serve bath.
Saturday, January 15, 2011, 10:00am - 1:00pm: Fee: $20

Play Like a Dog!
Sure, playing games with your dog helps teach your dog new behaviors and strengthens your working relationship, but most of all it's just plain FUN!   Join us for a morning of fun and games with your best friend!  All dog participants must be dog and people friendly!
